WORK + TRAINING = RESPONSIBILITY

New members begin with a training shift to introduce themselves to Co-op operations. The new member should contact the Co-op trainer to arrange a time for the first training session - a one-on-one overview of Co-op procedures and the store. The new member then works a regular 3 and ¾ hour shift shortly after the training (within the same month if feasible). Double working members work a second shift during the first month and then two shifts each month thereafter.

Members are encouraged to attend the October and January membership meetings and any special meetings that may be called. The Advisory Board welcomes participation of members in its monthly meetings (except during personnel discussions). Meeting notices are posted on the bulletin board.
