Earth Month Event: Road Clean-Up
The Co-op Membership and Community Outreach Committee is holding a road clean-up event, April 17, 2021.
Just ahead of Earth Day, the Cambridge Food Co-op is hosting a trash pick-up. We welcome everyone (though, must be over the age of 12) to come and help us keep our community beautiful and litter-free. This event is open to anyone in the community!
We'll meet at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 17, 2021 (rain date: April 18) in the Cambridge Food Co-op Parking lot (the back lot off of Railroad Avenue). There, participants will sign-in, and we'll hand out orange vests and trash bags before carpooling/caravaning to the clean-up site on County Route 59.
Please come prepared for getting a little dirty. Wear appropriate clothing, BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and water.
If you are interested in taking part, please click here to email the Membership and Community Outreach Committee. Registration is not required, but is helpful for us to coordinate things ahead of time.
